The first steps of the journey…

CL Gillmore

And what might seem to be a series of unfortunate events may, in fact, be the first steps of a journey…

Burning the Letters

CL Gillmore

Spent with sighing, dim with weeping,
Dies the autumn day;
Out of doors the wind is sweeping
Withered leaves away;
Let them go, my hopes had faded
Ere their life was done;
See, I burn the letters slowly,
Sadly, one by one.

~Poem excerpt from “Burning The Letters,” by Sarah Doudney

Be greater than our suffering…

Let me walk down the highway with my brother in peace.

CL Gillmore

“Let me drink from the waters where the mountain streams flood.
Let me smell of wildflowers flowing free through my blood.
Let me sleep in your meadows with the green grassy leaves.
Let me walk down the highway with my brother in peace.”

~Excerpt from the song “Let Me Die In My Footsteps,” ~ Bob Dylan

See what happens..

“You don’t always need a plan. Sometimes you just need to breathe, trust, let go…and see what happens.” ~ Mandy Hale

Look for me in the whispered glow

“Look for me in the whispered glow of a sultry summer night
As the waning light of a brilliant sunset fades quietly out of sight…”
